रसालकः- Fruits are juicy.
स्वादअम्लम - Fruit of dadima has sweet and sour taste.

Morphology

- Bark – Smooth, Grey and thin.
- Leaves- Opposite, 2.5-6 cm long, Base narrowed ,margin entire.
- Flowers- Solitary, sometimes 2-4 together, 4-5 cm long.
- Fruits- Globose, 4-7 cm in diameter, Red colour when ripe.
- Seeds- With a watery outer coat containing pink juice.
