Habitat
Morphology
Crataeva nurvala is a moderate sized deciduous tree. It grows up to 20 meters in height. Leaves are compound, lanceolate. Inflorescence is terminal crybomb. Fruits are berries, spherical or oval in shape, containing fleshy yellow pulp consisting of multiple reniform seeds. Bark is rough, gray to grayish brown outside and pale inner side.
